What Are Your Hours?
Daytime: Office hours are 11:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Evening: Sessions are available Monday through Thursday, either from 6:30-8:00 p.m., or from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Where Will We Meet?
I meet with couples where I office, at the University Club at 420 Summit Avenue in St. Paul, MN. The setting is comfortable and relaxed.
What Is The Cost?
The complete cost is $495, payable at our first meeting by check or credit card. This fee includes all the course materials. When you complete the course, you will receive a certificate for $70 off your marriage license.
How Are Your Premarital Education Classes Structured?
Everything is set up to make the most of your time, in a friendly and easy manner. Two 60-90 minute private classes (with homework).
Before the Classes
You take an online assessment about yourselves and your relationship.
In our two private meetings together, we go over the results of your assessment. Topics include money, chores, in-laws, and religion (optional).
There will also be homework (interesting homework, that fits with your schedule).
Could You Tell Us Little About Yourself?
My name is Rev. Tomkin Coleman, I am an ordained Anglican minister, and for the last twenty years have been working with couples as a non-denominational wedding officiant and premarital educator for both religious and non-religious couples.
Nine years ago, at my 15-year college reunion, I reconnected with an old college friend - and fell in love! I was lucky enough that she was willing to leave Chicago, move to St. Paul, and we married in April 2008.
We have a mellow Golden Retriever named Quinn, founded a charity to train dogs for children with autism, and we enjoy traveling, ballet and theatre performances, and spending time with family and friends.
